The film production company Bhavya creations, is going to release a new film in the tollywood stream which is named Souryam. It is going to feature the pair of Gopichand and Anushka.

The direction of the movie is going to be a debut one by the cinematographer Siva. The production of the movie is going to be done by Anand Prasad.
The makers say that the movie is specially being made and character is set for Gopichand.

He is already running with some good hits like Ranam, Yagnam, Andhrudu and Lakshyam.
The music direction for this movie is done by Mani Sharma.
The release of this movie is expected to go on September.

R.V. Ramana Murthy, the producer of Abhinandana, is now trying to patch up with others and make Tyagayya with J.S.Eswar Prasad playing the title role and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao making the direction part.

Music composer is going to be Maestro Ilayaraja.
Ramana Murthy said that K.Raghavendra Rao is his inspiration for this time’s production.
The film is officially launched during Tyagaraya Gana Sabha. Regular shooting will start in September. J.K.Bharavi will pen dialogs for this film.

Actor Rajasekhar and his spouse Jeevita joined the Congress party.
In the eve of their joining, they had taken a moderate rally to cheer and gesture, from their residence to Gandhi Bhavan, Hyderabad.

And to welcome them, the main executives of congress were present, which mainly include chief minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy, PCC chief D. Srinivas and State Cong affairs incharge Veerappa Moili.

According to Jeevita, they did not join the party for any personal benefit, or post or position in the party. But they are doing this so as to actively contribute and help for the benefit of the poor.
To note here, the couple has been making pro-congress statements for the last few months, more so after the attack on them at Punjagutta.

Dr. Srihari and Raja’s new film launched

Dr. Srihari and Raja’s new film has been launched yesterday at at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad. The director of the movie is Mallikarjun and the movie is coming under Nandi Arts banner. Mallikarjun has done the movie Abhimanyu earlier.

Dr. Srihari told the media that Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana, Mahanandi and Dhee were received extraordinarily by the public. Nagendra Babu loses weight for Posani Krishnamurali’s film

Nagendra Babu has lost good chunk of weight and is now slim. It is heard that he lost weight for Posani Krishnamurali’s film Aapada Mokkulavadu in which he is playing lead role. As per the sources, there is another film in planning with Nagendra Babu in the lead in which he will play a super cop. Sources maintained that Kondaveeti Simham is the title in consideration for the film.

Audio Release of Aagi

The audio of the telugu movie Aggi which is the telugu version of the hindi movie Aag, was released yesterday at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. It is directed by Ram Gopal Verma.Ram presented the first number to Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the notorious Gabbar Singh in this RGV version.

Others who were present at the ceremony were Nisha Kothari, Prashanth Raj, Sushant Singh, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Teja, Jayasudha, JD Chakravarthy, Raghu, Money Tree (event organizers).

Audio release of Vijaya Dasami

The audio of Vijaya Dasami, a movie by Kalyan ram was released yesterday by Dr. D. Ramanaidu. And the movie is expected to be released in the 1st week of september i.e. nearly 6th of september.

Whats the Movie about?

Shivaji (Shankar prefers the spelling as Sivaji), the film, opens with thousands of crowds waiting outside a court hall. A man named Sivaji is brought to the court by CBI and Police officers. Fearing the public outrage, the police officers mask his face. Sivaji is sent to jail. In the prison, co-prisoner asks Sivaji what offence he did – murder, rape, filming pornography or running chit fund company and bankrupting it? Sivaji turns and shows his face – that is Rajnikant – and says “I tried making our country better.”

After the titles roll, it is shown that Sivaji (Rajnikant), a software analyst, returns to India from USA and wants to setup Sivaji Foundation with Rs 200 Crores. He also falls in love with traditional Telugu girl (Shriya) and wants to marry her. On the other hand, he meets another businessman Adiseshu (Suman) and seeks help from him in setting up colleges that provides free education and general hospitals. Fearing that Sivaji’s charity plan might hamper his business interests, Suman uses all the power to stop Sivaji’s plans. He conspires against him and makes him pauper. Out of jail, Sivaji hatches a plan to unearth all the black money of Suman and also from other business men and do it for good cause. The rest of the film is how Sivaji takes revenge on Adiseshu.

Next Movie of Rajnikant - Sultan

Rajnikant’s Shivaji is released on Friday. Then what’s his next film. The answer came with Shivaji’s film. His next film is Sultan. Along with Shivaji, Sultan’s first look and trailer was released.

But in Sultan, Rajni’s animated character plays the hero role instead of Rajnikant. It is being produced by Rajni’s daughter Soundarya Rajniakant. Adlabs presents it and slated for 2008 release.

Shivaji - Both Telugu and Tamil in Prasads

For the first time, a Tamil film is releasing in Telugu and Tamil in Hyderabad with just one day gap. Shivaji is the first film to be screened in its two versions at Prasads Multiplex.

Its Telugu version will release on Friday, June 15th while the Tamil version hits on Saturday (June 16th).

Recently many Tamil and Malayalam films are being screened for Tamilians and Malayalis settled or working in Hyderabad. But this is the first time that a Tamil film directly releasing.

Congress MP from Guntur to enter Film Industry

Rayapati Sambashiva Rao, Congress MP from Guntur and his friend Shivaramakrishna who is into real estate business are entering into film production. They have already got the dates of NTR and Mahesh Babu. Shivaramakrishna is planning to make his first film with Mahesh Babu. Sekhar Kammula might direct this.

Along with Mirchi (to be directed by Hemamber and produced by Durga Arts), this Rayapati’s film will go to the sets simultaneously delete.

Supergood Movies’s Poti shelved!

Supergood Movies is prestigious production company in South India. It has produced many hits. Till now, none of their films have been shelved. But for the first time, a Supergood film was forced to shelve. Supergood’s head honcho R B Chowdhary’s son Jeeva’s maiden straight Telugu film has been scrapped mid-way.

The film titled Poti was launched recently and it has finished first schedule. The film’s new director’s work is said to be below the mark that made Chowdhary to stop the film completely, sources told.
It stars Kajal as the heroine.
